Tuesday/Thursday Fall 2023 Team Tennis, 6-8:30 pm

**WE NEED OPEN and/or A Players**

This is a mini-league from September 12th through October 26th (No play on Sept. 14) - the league may be extended as necessary due to weather.  Team tennis is played in the World Team Tennis format. Teams will consist of 5 players across all skill divisions to be formed by a draft process from team captains.  The draft will occur on Wednesday, Sept. 6th (Details TBD).

Teams will compete against their division rivals twice in the regular season before advancing to the playoffs. All players will be required to play both singles and doubles. During regular season, 4 teams from one division play on Tuesdays and 4 teams in the other division play on Thursdays.  All teams play on Sept. 12 and Oct. 26.

**Please note that early registration will grant you priority into this league, but it does not guarantee you a spot as we need to first ensure we have enough players across all skill divisions.**  

If you are granted a spot in the league, you will be entered into the draft process.   The cost of this year's league is $60 which is to be paid to your captain** once teams are finalized after the draft.  No payment is required to register.

**Team captains will set match rosters, lead communication with the team, organize subs and work with other team captains.  (More details will be provided once we have all the captains).  PLEASE Volunteer to be a captain and reach-out to me.

Venue:  We are playing at GW Mt Vernon Campus located at 2100 Foxhall Rd NW, Washington, DC - but makeup dates (due to weather) could be played elsewhere (HP or RC).  In addition - all players should be able to commit to play entire length of the league (although subbing is allowed with restrictions).
